Kion and Nguruma's Birthday[]

Kiburi and Ushari learn from Shupavu that a birthday celebration for Kion and Nguruma is being hosted at Mizimu Grove. Kiburi decides to gather his float and plan an attack. The next day, Kondo inquires if Shupavu is coming, and Kiburi replies that she has never let him down. She soon arrives with Makucha's Leap, making the crocodiles doubtful. However, after Shupavu explains the skill the leopards have, Kiburi allows them to come along with them. During the celebration, the crocodiles and leopards interrupt and attack, and Kiburi goes for Kohana, but is driven back by Mhina. Soon, Kiburi, his float, and the leopards are roared out of Mizimu Grove by Kion.

Legends of the Lion Guard: Battle for the Pride Lands[]

Kiburi and his float attack Timon and Pumbaa at Lake Matope, and the Lion Guard, Mhina, Anga, and Jasiri arrive to stop them. Kion immediately bounds forward, demanding for Kiburi to leave the Pride Lands, but he refuses with the belief that crocodiles don't take orders. Kion then roars him and his float away, and watches them scramble. Later, Kiburi's Float meet at Broken Rock with other antagonists. After a while, they again meet at the volcano, and Kiburi's Float agrees to go after Rafiki. However, Rafiki swiftly defeats them without anyone's help. Soon after Scar is summoned, he tells Shupavu to fetch Kiburi's Float, wanting an attack to keep Kion and the Lion Guard busy. Shortly after completing a patrol in Mizimu Grove, Ono reports that Sarabi is being attacked by Kiburi's Float at Urembo River, and the Lion Guard and their allies rush off to save her. Upon arriving, Kion warns Kiburi that he knows where the Outlands ends, but he retorts that it'll soon be extended to Pride Rock. He is told to leave peacefully, but he refuses, thinking that crocodiles do not take orders from lions.

Kion formulates a battle plan, assigning Mhina and Ono to help him deal with Kiburi, and a fight breaks out. Kion immediately pins Kiburi to the ground, stating that he can't win this fight, though he is not fazed by his statement. Ono mentions that it's not an even fight, though Kiburi remains optimistic he and his float can beat them. He flings Kion upward, causing Mhina to kick him and send the crocodile flying into an acacia tree. Kion calls for a regroup, warning Kiburi that he's been beaten eleven-on-three and that he should give up and go back to the Outlands. Kiburi disagrees, causing Kion to send him and the float flying back with the Roar of the Elders. Back at Pride Rock, Kion recalls defeating Kiburi's Float. Later, Ono reports that Kiburi and his crocodiles are attacking Kohana and Mahuluti at Lake Kiziwa. Upon being reminded of Kohana's fear of crocodiles, the Lion Guard, Anga, and Mhina immediately rush to protect them. When they arrive, Kion reminds Kiburi that he knows where the Outlands end, but he retorts that they'll soon stretch to Pride Rock. Formulating a plan, Kion assigns Ono, Anga, and Bunga to deal with the float while he and Mhina confront Kiburi directly. The crocodile questions if the young ones can really defeat his float, but Kion replies that they've beaten him before and will do so again. Kiburi lunges at Mhina, causing Kion to lash out and send him flying toward an acacia tree. Calling the Guard behind him, he gives Kiburi a final chance to return home, but when he refuses, Kion uses the Roar of the Elders to drive him and the float away.

The crocodiles report to Scar in the volcano, and Kiburi mentions that they didn't stand a chance against the Lion Guard. During the battle in Mapango Cliffs, Kiburi's Float arrives to help Janja's Clan and Reirei's Pack take out Rafiki, and Ono warns Kion. He tells him to deal with them alongside Anga, and eventually, Kion roars the Outlanders out of the Pride Lands. Later, Scar orders Shupavu to fetch Kiburi's Float for an attack at Lake Shangaza. The crocodiles go after Kuuma and Mahuluti, but Anga warns the Lion Guard and their allies, and they rush there to protect them. Kion tells Kiburi that he keeps forgetting where the Outlands end, but he retorts that they'll extend all the way to Pride Rock once the borders are destroyed. Kion says that he and Mhina will confront Kiburi while the others handle the float. At once, he pins the crocodile, urging him to give up, but Kiburi states that crocodiles never give in, and he'll lose everything he cares about. He throws Kion off, and Mhina lunges forward, sending Kiburi toppling into an acacia tree. Having had enough of fighting the float, Kion roars them away. When Scar commences his war on the Pride Lands, he orders the jackals and crocodiles to conquer Mizimu Grove.

They cross the border, which gets the attention of Zazu, and he tells Simba, who tells him to warn the Lion Guard. Upon finding out, Kion sends Beshte and Fuli to Mizimu Grove, but it soon becomes clear that they need help. Simba sends Jivin, Baliyo, and Rani to help, and they find Fuli pinned against a tree by Kiburi. Rani unsheathes her claws, and knocks him away from Fuli, sending him into the ground. Fuli then slashes Kiburi's muzzle, and Rani pins him, saying that Fuli isn't outnumbered now. Kiburi retorts that there is still more of them, and that they can't win easily this time. Shortly afterward, Kion mentions that the Lion Guard is dealing with Janja and Kiburi at Ndefu Grove and Big Ravine, respectively. Later, Scar's forces assemble in the volcano, and Kiburi skeptically questions if Kion really has the power to defeat Scar. Scar orders them to make the Lion Guard believe they're putting up a fight, and when Kiburi asks if they're all going, he confirms that they are. As they watch Kion's Army advance, Kiburi comments that Scar is smart, hence why they'll win. During the battle, he tussles with Makuu, and he pins him down. Eventually, the Outlanders retreat.
