Kambu is a male hyena. He is a member of Kucha's Clan.
He is an antagonist in Legends of the Lion Guard.
Appearance []
Kambu is milky-brown with darker spots and legs, a smooth black mane and tail, and red eyes.
Personality[]
Kambu is quiet and manipulative. Like Kucha, he uses sweet talk and charm to win his 'foolish' enemies over.

Legends of the Lion Guard: Protectors of the Pride Lands[]
An Unknown Threat[]
Kambu assists his leader in various attacks in the Pride Lands, but they are roared away by Kion each time. After being defeated and roared out of Mekundu Cliffs, the clan reassembles at Broken Rock, where Kucha promises revenge.
Legends of the Lion Guard: Battle for the Pride Lands[]
Kambu and his clan meet with Ushari, Janja's Clan, Shupavu's Group, and Reth's Pride at Broken Rock, hearing his news. After he mentions that they can bring Scar back, naming the two things needed to do so, Kambu says that they can get a bakora staff from Makini, and he and his clan are assigned to get her staff and kidnap Nguruma. At Lake Kiziwa, Kambu asks what they'll do, and Kucha tells him to wait as she and Zakia perform the ambush. Once the attack is done, the clan returns to the Outlands, joining the others inside the volcano. He and Zakia soon are near the area where the steam vents and Nguruma are, though they are soon defeated by Bunga, Beshte, and Anga, retreating to where Kucha is. When Kucha gets Kion to roar, the force of it causes the clan to go flying. When Scar commences his war on the Pride Lands, he orders all three hyena clans to conquer Chekundu Cliffs. They cross the border, which gets the attention of Zazu, and he tells Simba, who tells him to warn the Lion Guard.
Upon finding out, Kion sends Bunga, Ono, and Anga to Chekundu Cliffs, but it soon becomes clear that they need help. Simba sends Mshale's Lion Guard to Chekundu Cliffs, and they charge into the battle. Kambu fights Mshale, knocking him backwards. Shortly afterward, Kucha's Clan attacks Kion's family at Pride Rock, and Kambu confronts Rani, Baliyo, and Jasiri. The Lion Guard, Mhina, his siblings, and Azaad charge into battle, eventually forcing Kucha to call a retreat.
