Kamari is a male hyena. Along with Shenzi and Azizi, Kamari is one of Scar's loyal henchmen.
Appearance[]
Kamari displays the typical anatomy observed in an adult hyena. He is the closest of the trio to matching the rest of the clan in appearance, having the same body shape, hairless head, and receding black mane. Kamari has black eyes with yellow irises.
Personality[]
Kamari serves as a tough-minded and mighty companion to Scar.
Kamari is also shown to be hot-headed and aggressive, usually acting on impulse.

Trivia[]
- Kamari was originally named 'Banzai' in the original animated film, but the 2019 film would later rename him due to his, along with Azizi's original name, 'Ed', not being swahilian.
- He is voiced by Michael Pena.
- Compared to Banzai, who was less intelligent and much less serious, Kamari is more competent and no-nonsense. However, like Banzai, he is hot-headed and aggressive.
