- Simba: Ah. What a wonderful life in the jungle.
- Timon: Hakuna Matata.
- Pumbaa: No worries at all.
- Pat: I didn't know you guys had a beach. This is like going to a actual beach next to our hometown.
- Stan: Ugh, the sun. When Summer comes back, it's going to be a lot worse than you can imagine.
- Timon: Like Sunday Dinner?
- Stan: Who eat dinner at lunch time?
- Timon: I have plans for today.
- Simba: Anything you want to name.
- Pumbaa: How about we swim in the water?
- Timon: Pumbaa. Simba can't swim, you can't swim and we can't swim.
- Pat: Your colony also swims in the water, liar.
- Timon: That's only when we do parties like the time when we move to a predator-free jungle.
- Simba: I swim too.
- Stan: Even with the hot jacuzzi on your land, it make us fresh and calm like the cool in the cold.
- Pat: I know what we should do for tonight. Play board games!
- Stan: Board games? No. That's in our world. The animals in the Pride Lands don't play board games.
- Simba: We walk, we stand and rule into our pride.
- Pumbaa: *stand on two feet* I can still stand on two feet, see?
- Stan: Get down Pumbaa. You're giving me a heart attack.
- Pumbaa: What did i do wrong?
- Pat: Are we going to play board games or what?
- Stan: Fine. We're going to play board games tonight. But you gotta make them before we got nothing else to do in the dark.
- Timon: Me and Pat are going to construct a place for you guys. No peeking.
- Pumbaa: Is it like a sneak peek?
- Timon: I didn't say you can go and sneak around a peak into our under construction site.
- Pat: Go ahead and play. Me and Timon are going to find a place to construct. You guys have fun until night time.
- Simba: Boys, let's go.
- Pumbaa: I'm going to catch some grubs for snack.
- Stan: See you Pat and Timon. I don't believe in you two. But if you hurt yourself, we're leaving and we're going to have a problem.
- Pat: Stan, just go. I can handle things myself. Look how courage i am.
- Stan: Whatever.
- Timon: Pat, do you know which empty place we can build our secret place in.
- Pat: I know a place we can build our secret place in. Follow me.
- Timon: Easy timing.
(Simba, Pumbaa and Stan relax in the jacuzzi of the jungle)
- Simba: Ah.
- Pumbaa: Bubbles.
- Stan: I feel like being boiled in the pot of soup.
- Simba: How long these bubbles steam for?
- Pumbaa: For long. They will stop bubbling in a single minute or hour.
- Stan: Like cooking pasta.
- Pumbaa: Why do you have to mention everything that has nothing to do with the jungle?
- Stan: Do you mind letting me say a joke in front of the jacuzzi?
- Pumbaa: I don't think so.
(The bubbles stop steaming the jacuzzi)
- Stan: Oh great. I knew it was going to happen.
- Simba: It always happen. We been here once.
- Stan: Now it's a regular pool. Does anyone feel the salt water in here?
- Pumbaa: Don't worry. It will go back up in a minute.
- Stan: I wish we were at the gym where the jacuzzi steam the best bubbles in the water.
(The bubbles started to steam again in the jacuzzi)
- Stan: Hey, the bubbles came back.
- Pumbaa: I knew they would pop up again.
- Simba: Now that's fresh.
- Everyone: Ah.
(Timon and Pat are in the secret place, working on a bunch of board games)
- Timon: That logging work really wanna peel down a skin.
- Pat: Just sculpture the board games and we'll get used to it.
- Timon: Do we have to set other games as well?
- Pat: We need light. When it get dark, we'll catch the fireflies and set it up like a light bulb.
- Timon: Do we need buttons to?
- Pat: No metal required.
- Timon: Alright. Let's go back to work.
- Pat: Easy lifetime.
(At night, Pumbaa, Simba and Stan are at the cave, setting up a campfire to warm up)
- Simba: Nice and steady.
- Pumbaa: Fresh fire. Stan, you did a lot of great stuff in our world.
- Stan: I set everything for you guys. A nice fresh warm campfire to relax.
- Pumbaa: We all did nothing all day.
- Stan: What did we do? We went fishing and catch some grubs.
- Simba: That's on lecture time Stan.
- Stan: Oh lord.
(Timon and Pat show up to tell them the good news)
- Timon: Hey everybody, we got good news.
- Pat: The secret place you all have been waiting for is finally done.
- Stan: Thank you. No questions asked.
- Pat: Follow us. I know you're going to like the new place we just build.
- Timon: Shh. It's a surprise.
- Pat: I don't wanna cause a scene in front of the animals.
- Simba: We're listening.
- Timon: Just come along.
- Pumbaa: No worries.
(The animals walk to the secret place as the leaves are covering up the entrance)
- Pumbaa: What's inside of that big log?
- Timon: It's also a cave. And, we worked hard all day.
- Pat: All day long while you guys sit there and do nothing.
- Stan: What the? We were just chatting.
- Timon: That still count as doing nothing.
- Stan: Okay. Can you reveal the place already.
- Pat: Alright. Behold, i present you. *reveal the secret place* The Game Cave!
(The Game Cave includes every board game made from wood and the fireflies that glow in the cave like light bulbs)
- Stan: Is this a paradise game room?
- Pumbaa: Wow. Unbelievable.
- Simba: You did all of this?
- Pat: Told you. We're going to have a game night. Starting right now.
- Stan: In here? I want to play Go Grub.
- Pat: First up. Checkers.
- Stan: Checkers? With little pieces?
- Pat: Board games will be next. Have a seat my friends.
(The animals have a seat on the log bumps)
- Stan: You call those seats? You gotta do better than that.
- Timon: Me and Pumbaa are going to play.
- Pumbaa: You ask me.
- Pat: Your pieces are light brown and yours is dark brown.
- Pumbaa: Interesting.
- Timon: We made it together.
- Pat: Alright. Let's play.
(Timon and Pumbaa play checkers together. Timon move his piece as Pumbaa move his piece.)
- Pumbaa: What is the point of this game?
- Timon: If you go near, you grab my piece. When you reach the bottom line, you'll be a king and move whatever piece you want. The most pieces win.
- Pumbaa: It's on.
- Timon: *move his piece*
- Pumbaa: *move his piece*
- Stan: How is the game going?
- Timon: I'm doing well. *move his piece*
- Pumbaa: *move his piece* I'm all out of room.
- Timon: Then you take a piece. *take Pumbaa's piece*
- Pumbaa: Hey. That's my piece.
- Timon: It's part of the game.
- Pumbaa: Who said it's part of the game?
- Pat: I told Timon everything about the history of games. Even through we play it in that way. Instructions said so.
- Stan: Just like having a sale tax for your receipt.
- Timon: This is a very difficult game. We should do better than that.
- Pumbaa: *grab Timon's piece* Yeah. I'm pretty good at it.
- Timon: Pumbaa, you're better than me. I accept it.
- Simba: Pumbaa is really doing great on this.
- Pumbaa: I'm the hog. *reach to the bottom and grab the king piece* I'm the king of the jungle!
- Timon: Oh yeah. Now you have to go after my pieces. Move whatever piece you want on the next turn.
- Pumbaa: *move his piece*
- Timon: My turn. *move his piece*
- Pumbaa: Oh. Oh. Come on. Think.
- Timon: Pumbaa, why are you standing her for? You were doing good.
- Pumbaa: I don't know which to move.
- Simba: Here's a hint. You move the other piece around, you got for two.
- Pat: You go around and take his piece.
- Stan: That how checkers work.
- Pumbaa: Ooh. *move his piece and grab all of Timon's pieces* Yes! I won!
- Timon: What? No! No way!
- Simba: Pumbaa, you won.
- Pumbaa: Yeah. That's how a warthog always win.
- Timon: I was about to get your pieces. D'oh.
- Stan: Let's go play the real board games now.
- Pumbaa: Yeah. I'm the champ. Don't mess with the pig.
(The animals are about to play Jungle Land)
- Timon: Here we are. Jungle Land.
- Pat: It's like Candy Land, but it's a jungle out there.
- Stan: What is this? Sticks? Where's the pictures? No details?
- Timon: I paint the sticks with grub coloring. So you may want to choose your stick color.
- Simba: I choose orange.
- Pat: Grey.
- Stan: Yellow.
- Pumbaa: Red.
- Timon: Gold for me.
- Pat: Like a bucket of gold.
- Timon: The dice is made of rock. I also added the dots from a grub coloring.
- Pumbaa: What does the grub coloring taste like?
- Timon: You ate it before. What's wrong with you.
- Pumbaa: Just go first.
- Timon: Okay. I can't believe you. *roll the dice to a 2* Two? Bummer. *move 2 spaces*
- Pumbaa: Alright then. *roll the dice to 4* Alright. *move 4 spaces*
- Pat: Here i go. *roll the dice to 1* What? Darn it. I get 1. *move 1 space*
- Stan: Lucky me. Banana pickle. *roll the dice to 5* Oh ho ho ho. How do you like me now? *move 5 spaces*
- Simba: Hakuna Matata. *roll the dice to 6* Yes! *move 6 spaces*
- Stan: What? No fair. How did you get 6?
- Pat: I was so close on getting to 6. I got 1 which is the worst one.
- Timon: It's just a game. There's no need to complain.
- Pumbaa: I hope i have the chance to win.
- Timon: Let's see about that. *roll the dice to 5* 5? Pretty cool. *move 5 spaces*
- Pumbaa: *roll the dice to 4* 4. *move 4 spaces*
- Pat: *roll the dice to 3* 3. Not bad. *move 3 spaces*
- Stan: *roll the dice to 2* 2? Come on, i was so close on getting 6. *move 2 spaces*
- Simba: *roll the dice to 4* 4. Great. *move 4 spaces*
- Pat: Even they got the same number. I'm dumb.
- Timon: I made this game for everyone. Don't be a dummy about it. *roll the dice to 3* 3. *move 3 spaces*
- Pumbaa: *roll the dice to 1* 1? Now i'm a worry little guy. *move 1 space*
- Pat: I'm just a game. What do you expect? A remaster of a old piece? Watch how it goes. *roll the dice to 6* 6! Oh yeah. I'm the man. *move 6 spaces*
- Stan: Come on, come on, come on. Hit me the jackpot spot. *roll the dice to 5* 5. So close. *move 5 spaces*
- Simba: Let's see about that. *roll the dice to 6* 6. Alright, i got a lucky score. *move 6 spaces*
- Timon: Way a go Simba, you're kicking it.
- Simba: Thank guys.
- Pat: Hey, no fair. He got the lucky score.
- Stan: Darn it! I was so close on winning.
- Pumbaa: I'm still a loser.
- Timon: There are no winners and losers. No one in here is a baby. It's just a game and i hope you do well on the next turn of the board game.
(After moments of playing, everyone is struggling with one piece of a turn as almost everyone is about to reach to the goal to win)
- Pat: Oh my gosh, i am so close on winning!
- Stan: We keep having the same one space over and over again.
- Simba: Let's see who's gonna win.
- Pumbaa: It's either me.
- Timon: Or i.
- Pumbaa: We're three spaces left til the goal.
- Pat: I cannot lose my energy.
- Stan: We all went. Timon, you're next.
- Timon: My time is up **roll the dice to 3* Oh my. *move 3 spaces* Yes! I finally won.
- Pumbaa: Noooo! I was about to win.
- Timon: That was a great game.
- Pat: Good game, what so ever.
- Simba: We did our best to move the spaces.
- Timon: Ba dum.
- Stan: Next time if we play again, i'm going first.
- Timon: Games are just games man.
- Simba: Is there something else to show us?
- Timon: We have Connect 4.
- Pat: Connect 4? How do we connect?
- Timon: It's a game. Hello? Pat, we build the game together.
- Pat: Yeah right.
- Stan: How do we connect each other in the jungle?
- Timon: It's a game. It's all right into your faces.
- Simba: Connect 4. So, do we have to get along together to play the game?
- Timon: No. We have pieces to connect the link in.
- Pumbaa: What are those? Coins?
- Timon: It's little wood. One is light brown and one is dark brown.
- Pumbaa: They all look the same.
- Timon: Of course. Watch how it goes. *put his light brown piece on the link* Simba, you try.
- Simba: Alright. I'm in. *put his dark brown piece on the link*
- Timon: That how the game works.
- Pat: Ooh. Watch us how you play.
- Timon: It's game time. *put his piece on the link*
- Simba: *put his piece on the link*
- Timon: *put his piece on the link*
- Simba: *put his piece on the link*
- Timon: Ah ha. *put his piece on the link*
- Simba: Hey.
- Timon: You can't win.
- Simba: You know who i am.
- Stan: This is going to get pretty boring.
- Pat: You guys are doing really great.
- Timon: Good. Let me see what. *put his piece on the link*
- Simba: *put his piece on the link*
- Pat: I wonder who gonna win?
- Timon: *put his piece on the link to connect four together* Yes! I connect all 4 on a link!
- Simba: Timon is the winner.
- Timon: Woo hoo. I'm the best sport in the jungle.
- Pumbaa: That's my man.
- Pat: He's the king of the jungle.
- Timon: You guys are kicking the world.
- Stan: What did we do? We didn't even play half of the games.
- Timon: Well we got more outside that we can play with.
- Stan: You count us all in for the test.
- Timon: Are you ready to try them all out?
- Pat: Oh yeah. I'm in the game.
- Timon: Let's do the game night for real.
(The background song "I Can't Go for That (No Can Do)" by Daryl Hall and John Oates plays as the animals started to try out all the games in the jungle. Pat and Stan use the nets to catch all the frogs in the pond as Timon and Pumbaa play some Jenga blocks as Timon take the piece with the tower falling apart.)
- Pumbaa: Nice try Timon.
- Timon: Well this stinks.
(Simba and Pat catch the most grubs in the logs as Stan use the stick to pinch on every grub. Timon and Pumbaa use the bean bags to make them flat as Pat and Stan stack all the bean bags into the bag. Pat and Stan hold the stick as Timon and Pumbaa do the limbo together. Simba tried to catch every grub on the holes and grab one of them and slurp them out.)
- Simba: Slimy and yummy.
(Timon, Pat and Stan swim into the water to search for any fish as they throw all the fishes to the leaf pile)
- Pat: I got the most.
- Stan: You're suppose to reach to the end silly.
- Pat: What? I thought we were working together.
- Timon: That's part of the game. Too bad, so sad.
- Pat: Dang it.
(Timon, Pumbaa and Simba hold the rope from Pat and Stan during a game of pulling the rope whoever fall into the mud)
- Timon: Come on, pull this trigger up.
- Pumbaa: Don't make a gas sound.
- Pat: You can't beat us now.
- Stan: You're going to fall into the mud first.
- Timon: Simba, do something. I can't feel my tiny little hands.
- Simba: *grab the rope from his mouth and trip Pat and Stan into the mud*
- Pat: Oh honey iced chocolate!
- Stan: Made of mud.
- Timon: We won!
- Pumbaa: Ho ho ho. We're the champs.
- Simba: Hakuna Matata. What a wonderful game.
- Pat: Jeez, thanks a lot you guys. You made me trip into that mud.
- Stan: Gosh glaciers. I'm covered in mud.
- Pat: I would rather be covered with poop.
- Simba: Well well well, you knew you're the only two to come into our jungle.
- Pat: We would have brought a elephant over to help.
- Stan: Or a monkey to pull the rope fast.
- Timon: Anyone need a shower?
(The background song end as the animals take a shower from a waterfall)
- Pat: Ooh, cold.
- Stan: I'm wet. Thanks to the mud spot.
- Timon: We did everything in one night and we haven't even gone into one single game.
- Pumbaa: The snail slurping contest?
- Timon: No. Last time we did the contest, i almost got into a coma and threw myself into the water. We're not going to do that anymore with these guys.
- Simba: Simba's always the winner and you're welcome.
- Timon: You always win. We need one more game to figure out that we haven't even gone to yet.
- Pat: What game? I thought we did them all.
- Timon: That's not it. We have one more to play.
- Pat: Like rock climbing?
- Tmon: Ooh, you name it!
- Pat: Huh?
- Stan: Rock climbing on the mountain? Give me a break already. We wasted our night but sleeping into the house.
- Timon: Rock climbing will be the last part of the game.
- Pat: Alright.
- Stan: Kill me now, oh kill me now. Throw a bullet at me.
- Pumbaa: Don't worry Stan. Relax. We got one more game and we're done.
- Stan: This game night is a mess.
- Simbaa: I wonder where rock climbing is going to take place in?
(The rock climbing game take place on the high cliff as the animals are in the bottom of the jungle, taking a look at the cliff)
- Simba: *gulp* Oh well, i'm not doing it.
- Stan: I pass this one. Thanks again and see you tomorrow.
- Timon: Wait wait wait wait. Hold on a second. I made this game for you all.
- Stan: What?
- Simba: I have fear on climbing into the cliff.
- Pat: Don't judge a game by it's look. We just got here.
- Stan: Oh yeah. How about i whip your nose for a booger.
- Pat: Hey! Cut that out.
- Timon: Okay! No more fighting for the last time, okay?
- Pumbaa: Okay. I told you there's no worries in the jungle.
- Timon: I know Pumbaa. That's why we were here to face a challenge. Now who's with me.
- Simba: I'm getting flashbacks over the cliff.
- Pat: This remind me of our camping trip when me and Stan were doing rock climbing over the hikes.
- Stan: Oh yeah. Wait til the zombies stare at you. They're right into your face!
- Pat: Ah! Zombies! *climb to the cliff*
- Timon: Pat is first. Now let's rock climb.
(The animals started to do some rock climbing. Pumbaa use his feet to climb over a bunch of rocks.)
- Pumbaa: Easy coming. Don't look into the bottom.
- Pat: *climb from the rocks* I gotta get to the top.
- Timon: You're doing it. Come on. It's a easy thing to do.
(The animals are doing well with rock climbing. Simba use his paws to reach, Stan use his hands to climb as the rest use their hands to reach to the top.)
- Pat: *trip a rock over* Oops.
- Timon: Look out for falling rocks.
- Simba: Uh oh. *dodge the falling rocks with the animals*
- Pat: That's a big goof i just did.
- Timon: That's how the game is suppose to be Pat. Keep going.
- Pat: Almost there.
- Stan: One. Two. Three. Four.
- Pumbaa: *fart* Son of a grub.
- Timon: It's okay Pumbaa. You're outside. Just climb like a man.
- Pumbaa: Fine.
- Stan: *move to the other side from climbing.
- Timon: Make sure you move from side to side to look for rocks to climb on, like rock climbing on a arcade.
- Pat: This is going to get sniff and stinky at the same time!
- Stan: *trip from a rock* Ah!
- Simba: Be careful Stan.
- Stan: This is a dead end. I think i'm gonna die.
- Pat: *try to reach to the ground* I almost got it. This isn't the end of my life.
- Timon: *make it to the goal* 1st place!
- Pat: Timon, a little help?
- Timon: I just reach first. You gotta do it yourself silly hippo.
- Pat: Why won't you help me now?
- Timon: Players don't help. You're on your own.
- Pat: *fall from the rocks* Ah!
- Timon: Patrick!
- Pat: *land on Pumbaa*
- Pumbaa: Pat.
- Pat: Sorry. The little baby rock fall on me.
- Stan: Pumbaa, Pat. Hold on!
- Pumbaa: *land on the rock* Push. *push Pat*
- Pat: This is the hardest game ever!
- Timon: You can do it. It's a real challenge for you all!
- Simba: *hold on to the rocks* No. I can't get enough flashbacks.
- Stan: What's wrong?
- Simba: I remember when my father almost saved himself from falling, my uncle Scar grab my father's paws and make him fall into a bunch of running wildebeests.
- Stan: Is this why you're receiving the same fate?
- Simba: I don't wanna fall like my father did. I lost a single parent and now i can't lose to myself!
- Stan: You're brave enough to climb over that top!
- Simba: You know i am. Hold on.
- Stan: *hold on Simba* Guys, hop on.
- Pat: Move a little closer.
- Simba: *use his claws to reach over to Pat and Pumbaa*
- Timon: Huh? What are you doing?
- Pat and Pumbaa: *reach to Simba and get on*
- Simba: Are you ready?
- Stan: Now. Pretend that there's a fire at Pride Rock.
- Simba: Here goes for nothing! *climb fast with his claws*
- Timon: Holy claws, what do you think you're doing?
- Simba: Almost there.
- Pat: Woo hoo.
- Pumbaa: We're going up.
- Stan: And then, we win.
- Simba: *jump high and land on the top with Timon*
- Timon: Oh my bugs, you guys made it.
- Simba: We won.
- Pumbaa: Yeah, that's what i call a great game.
- Pat: I thought we were going to fall and die.
- Stan: Thank good we made it out of there.
- Timon: Boys, i can't believe you. You almost gave me a heart attack.
- Pumbaa: This is bonkers.
- Pat: That's it. That was the last game we did for nothing.
- Simba: Even it's dark outside, no one has saw us climbing from the top.
- Timon: No tribe or predator can throw spears at us.
- Stan: We're the best of both worlds.
- Pat: Give me a break.
- Pumbaa: Time to go relax on a big night.
(At the cave, Timon, Pumbaa, Simba, Pat and Stan relax in their bed-like nests)
- Timon: Ah, what a big nest we got.
- Pumbaa: I look like a bird.
- Simbaa: These things look good for the night.
- Pat: No wonder why we deserved big nests for the night.
- Stan: You haven't seen a big bird flying around, didn't you?
- Everyone: *laugh*
- Stan: You're the grand prize winner for tonight!
- Timon: Go to sleep my friends.
- Simba: Goodnight.
- Pumbaa: Sleep tight.
- Pat: And don't let the bed bugs peek into your ears tonight.
- Stan: Now i'm fresh like a clean dog.
- Timon: Sweet dreams.
(The animals sleep on the nests for tonight)
THE END
Trivia[]
- The story was originally worked as a Lion King short and planned to be released sometime in 2019, but it never did for unknown reasons. It was later released in 2020 and featured characters from Pat and Stan, reworking it into a Crossover Omniverse Saga property.
- The short took influence from the game Timon & Pumbaa's Jungle Games which was released on Microsoft Windows back in 1995. A Super Nintendo Entertainment System port was also released in North America and PAL territories in November 1997 and March 1998, respectively.
