Physical Appearance[]

Janna has light-brown fur, her eye rims, muzzle, paws, and stomach fur is a mix of light-cream and gray. The inner of her ears are light pink and her ear rims light-brown. Personality[]

Queen Janna is kind, caring, and helpful to any animal she interacts with.

She was very helpful to Kion and all other animals and she believed anyone can be healed. When Alika told her about the lion with a powerful roar Janna was very happy about it, because she realized that the Roar of the Elders had returned to the Tree of Life. She trusted Alika and the Night Pride very much and believed that Alika would be a very good queen, despite her granddaughter's doubt in herself, assuring Alika that she had everything and everyone she needed to be a good queen.

Janna was wise, compassionate, and was much beloved by all the animals of the Tree of Life, as many of them shed tears and mourned her passing away. She looked past superficial things like physical appearances and different circumstances and saw the virtues in others. She knew that in the heart, where it really counts, all animals are the same, reciting Sisi ni sawa to Alika, when she told her about Kion.

Relationships[]

Family[]

Munga[]

Janna and her father have a mutual affection for each other, Munga and Janna initially had a strained father-daughter relationship, due to Munga's very strict views of following their traditions - initially wanted his daughter to be raised without the company of lions - especially lions of the opposite sex - in the Horde of mandrills, where there were only elderly, nursing mothers and very young mandrills occasionally a few lions - and Janna's insecurities of becoming future queen, she yearned to prove to her father that she was responsible and mature.

And when he finds out she was secretly dating Mufasa, he did send her to the Horde he originally intended for her to grow up - and released her when her puberty ceased, when he considered her fully grown at the age of roughly five in a half years.

When she reached the age of six years he forced her to become ruler, she tried to banish him as she was driven mad by the fact that Mufasa was engaged to Sarabi from birth and didn't tell her - she didn't want her father in her way, she didn't want him forcing her to rule his way and make her steal territory from the Pride Lands which his enemy's son would rule.

Rani[]

Rani is Janna's granddaughter. Rani told Janna everything that was going on around the Tree of Life since she could not leave the Tree. When Janna was about to complete her journey through the Circle of Life, she told Rani that it was time to take her place as queen. Rani tells her that she's not ready. Janna says that she would have the rest of the Night Pride with her to help. Rani was devastated when Janna died.

Baliyo[]

Baliyo is Janna's grandson. Baliyo loved his grandmother and did not want to enter the Tree of Life at first, simply because he couldn’t see her die. During her last moments, Janna encouraged her grandson to stay strong and to continue supporting his sister. After her death, Baliyo was heartbroken.

Surak[]

Surak is Janna's younger son, and the two cared for each other very much. During her final moments, she requested her son to give Rani his wisdom but allow her to find her own way. He was very sad when Janna passed away.

Sahasi is Janna's oldest son. He completed his journey through the Circle of Life already, though she still loves her son.

Makini becomes Rani's Royal Mijuzi and stays at the Tree of Life. She was there when Janna completed her journey through the Circle of Life.

Mufasa[]

Mufasa and Janna are good friends and each other's crushes at some point.

Janna heard stories about Mufasa as an infant, as he was heroic even as cub only a little older than her.

Once as an old preteen she ran into him during hunting when she got so into chasing a gazelle. At first, she was slightly hostile hissing at him for trespassing, but when Mufasa gently nudges her to look around - she blushes as she realizes she doesn't recognize her surroundings. But to her suprise he isn't mad, and they spend the whole day hunting and have a very sweet parting afterwards.

Over the next few weeks the two hunt together, sharing the kill between both prides secrectly.

After about a year after they meet, Janna agrees, to show him her territory as her father had to go to do some sort of ritual and wouldn't be home in a while, though lets say it turns into something neither of them expected.

After the next few months of meeting up at the border and " playing " in the quick river that sepererated their prides, Munga noticed his daughter's stranger than ussual behovior and sends her too the elder's for an inspectioning, finding out that she is pregnent: with triplets!

Askari[]

Janna and Askari are good friends. Askari first discovered the Roar of the Elders not far from the Tree of Life. Askari also appears in the sky with her watching Kion's coronation and marriage alongside Mufasa.
