History[]
Backstory[]
Janna was born into the royal family of the Tree of Life as the daughter of Bahan and Berenike. As a cub, Janna became known for her compassionate nature, and her interest in healing others. She was also very dutiful, and looked forward to assuming the throne, and ruling over the Tree of Life. When Janna reached adolescence, she met and fell in love with Dayaalu, a member of the Night Pride. Janna and Dayaalu began to spend all of their time together, exploring the Tree of Life. Eventually, Janna met and befriended Salamu, who was training to be a Royal Mjuzi. She was impressed by Salamu's natural talent for healing others, and strived to harness the energy of the Tree of Life to use to heal the injuries of others. Upon reaching adulthood, Janna and Dayaalu married, and became the king and queen of the Tree of Life, upon the passing of Berenike and Bahan.
Soon, Janna gave birth to two cubs, named Jivin and Surak. As the firstborn, Jivin was expected to succeed Janna as ruler of the Tree of Life, and Janna soon began to prepare him for his future role as king. Soon, Janna met and befriended Sapphire, who was the aunt of Atiena, the queen of Leopon Plains. Atiena's sons, Ajani and Patch, became close friends with Jivin and Surak. Eventually, a betrothal was arranged between Jivin and Maya, a member of the Mwanga Pride. Janna soon witnessed the marriage of Surak and Nirmala, a young lioness that had traveled to the Tree of Life to become a healer, and the birth of their children, a daughter named Aminia, and a son named Danyal. Shortly afterwards, Jivin and Maya married, and Maya soon gave birth to their firstborn cub, a daughter named Rani. Shortly after Rani's birth, Dayaalu completed his journey in the Circle of Life, which prompted Janna to abdicate the throne, and pass it to Jivin and Maya, who became the new king and queen of the Tree of Life.
As the dowager queen of the Tree of Life, Janna soon took upon the role of mentoring her granddaughter, Rani for her future role as queen. Shortly after the birth of Jivin and Maya's second cub, Baliyo, a peace treaty was arranged between the Tree of Life and Leopon Plains, which was now ruled by Ajani, the son of Atiena, and Ayo, a princess of Grass Walls. Soon afterwards, Janna met and befriended Rafiki, the Royal Mjuzi of the Pride Lands. Eventually, Janna's close friend and Royal Mjuzi, Salamu, completed her journey in the Circle of Life. Soon, a young mandrill named Kenene was brought to Janna and Rafiki by her parents, Fikiri and Kitendo. She already knew Kenene was to be a Royal Mjuzi from Rafiki, and after looking her over and testing her, Janna agreed to take in Kenene as the Tree of Life's next Royal Mjuzi after Salamu, upon Kenene completing her training with Rafiki.
Soon, Kenene moved to the Tree of Life, and took on the position of Janna's next Royal Mjuzi. When Kenene's younger sister, Makini, was a child, she too was brought to the Tree of Life, where Rafiki took her on as his own apprentice to be trained as the next Pride Lands Royal Mjuzi. Eventually, Janna met and formed a close relationship with Mhina, Sapphire's great-great nephew.
