Jafar is a cape cobra that appears in the series The Lion King : Timon and Pumbaa or Zolt and Copper?. He is the secondary antagonist of the series , as well as a minor character in The Lion King 2 1/2.

Backstory[]
Jafar was a cape cobra who was born in Giraffe Horizons. He was the childhood friend of Udam. However, when he found out about Oovu via the Primate Party , he turned evil.
The Lion King 2 1/2[]
He is seen speaking with Katili about Kopa. He later argued with Udam about protecting Kopa.
The Lion King : Timon and Pumbaa or Zolt and Copper ?[]
Jafar is the best friend of Quint. He finds out about the death Kengele , the rattle snake he had a crush on. He attempts to poison Pumbaa and Baampu several times. He almost ate Timon once.
Later , Timon tells him about Hakuna Matataa. This causes him to reform.
However after Quint’s death , he slowly turned evil. But he had left the Pridelands , so he could not harm anyone.

- Jafar is voiced by Jonathan Freeman. Freeman reprised his role from the Aladdin franchise.
- Jafar is based on the Aladdin character of the same name.
- He was supposed to die in the final battle.
