Imara is a lioness. She is the mate of Kasi and a member of Simba's Pride.
She is a supporting character in Legends of the Lion Guard.
Appearance[]
Imara has a stocky frame. As she is a maned lioness, she has a brown mane and tail tuft. She has copper fur, with her underbelly, paws, and muzzle being cream; the belly overall is a lighter shade of cream than the rest of the pale parts. Her nose is pointed and pink, she has dark blue eyes with yellow sclaerae. Her eyerims and spots under her eyes are dark brown. Her inner ears are pink, and she has dual ear rims, brown on the top and black on the bottom.
Personality[]
Not only is Imara physically strong, but she is strong-willed as well. She is extremely tenacious and headstrong. She openly welcomes challenges, preferring tasks to be as hard and challenging as possible. This can also make her cocky, as she tends to overestimate her strength and underestimate her opponents. Like some other lionesses, Imara seems to enjoy fighting, as she can be seen smiling during battle. Imara seems to be reserved and quiet as she doesn't speak up and usually acts stoically. However, when she does speak, it is usually in an excited tone, showing that she can be quite jovial and hyperactive. She is also very supportive, having formed an extremely close bond with Kasi, and will fight alongside her without hesitation.

Backstory[]
Imara was born in the Outlands and grew up under the vicious rule of Zira, who raised her under Scar's teachings. She engaged in battle with Simba and his pride, but after realizing that she and the Outsiders were one with them, they merged prides and abandoned the ways of Zira. Eventually, Imara became mates with Kasi.

An Unknown Threat[]
Imara and Kasi are attacked by Kucha's Clan at the watering hole. The Lion Guard, along with Anga, arrive on the scene and drive away the hyenas. Kion finds the lionesses to be alright, asking if she and Kasi would like to come back to Pride Rock with them, but they instead wish to hunt at Mbali Fields. They soon bid farewell to the Lion Guard.
