Hekima was a male lion who was the first king of Leopon Plains. He was the mate of Zamani and the father of Heshima.
He is a deceased character in Legends of the Lion Guard.
Appearance[]
Hekima has a dusty brown pelt, with a darker brown mane. He has a beige underbelly, paws, and a bushy black tail-tip. His nose and inner ears are magenta, and his right eye is green. Due to an attack from an unknown animal, he is blind in his left eye, which bears a pink scar.
Personality[]
Hekima often thinks of himself as the bravest and strongest. He is also very kind and witty.
History[]
Backstory[]
Hekima was born to unknown parents in an unknown territory. As he grew up, he quickly left his family to explore new lands; one of these lands would eventually turn out to be Leopon Plains. Liking the shelter, food, and other places around the plains, Hekima decided to live there. He would soon meet a leopardess named Zamani, and they became fast lovers. Upon seeing that no monarchy was present in the lands, he and Zamani decided to build one, and they became the first king and queen of the land. However, the land had no formal name, but they decided to name it after the hybrid of their species - Leopon Plains. Hekima and Zamani ruled for many years, creating the bloodline of the Leopon Plains monarchy that is known today. Sometime during his rule, he was attacked by an unknown animal, gaining a scar over his left eye and becoming permanently blind in it. Both are currently Great Spirits of the Past.
Legends of the Lion Guard: Battle for the Pride Lands[]
Hekima meets with other Spirits of the Past in the skies over Sehemu Pass to discuss the return of Scar. He says that there must be a way to defeat Scar and restore peace, adding that they'll look after their descendants and make sure that Scar is vanquished once and for all.
