The New Heroes[]
The Lion Guard rushes to the watering hole to stop Kiburi's Float from attacking Timon and Pumbaa, only to find that two lions have already handled the conflict. They introduce themselves as Gina and Tapu, and while they are thanked for their help, some of the Lion Guard members and Mhina complain about being replaced. This gets the attention of Nyata and Shupavu, who report to Reirei's Pack.
Meanwhile, the Lion Guard has just finished a patrol at Lake Matope when Ono suddenly reports that Rafiki is being attacked by the jackals at Mizimu Grove. Quickly, they rush there, hoping Gina and Tapu haven't stolen their thunder again. They instead find them doing nothing, and Gina points to Rafiki, who has already sent Reirei and Goigoi away with his martial arts skills. She and Tapu then apologize for making the Guard feel replaced, and they accept the apology.
