Ghiaccio is a male penguin that lives at the Tree of Life. He is a member of Pinguino's Rookery.

Appearance []
Ghiaccio is black with white feathers on his belly. He has webbed orange feet, yellow head crests, and an orange beak. His eyes are dark brown.

Ghiaccio is friendly and kind. He likes to be treated with respect and kindness.

When Kion and Mhina spend a day at Icy River, Mhina observes Pinguino and his rookery sliding down an ice slide, showing Kion eagerly, and both marvel over how fast the penguins are going. The two, deciding to try sliding for themselves, head over to the slide. While Mhina slides down effortlessly, Kion slips, and he and Mhina both crash into Pinguino's Rookery, sending the penguins flying in all sorts of directions. Pinguino, irritated, complains that the two could have ruined their ice slide, but Kion and Mhina are too caught up in their fun and run off. Later, during the final battle for the Tree of Life, Pinguino's Rookery is attacked by the army of predators, but Kion eventually saves them and uses the Roar to drive the villains away for good.
