Furaha is a young lioness with light coloured fur and typical yellow eyes. She is part of Kovu's Pride now that Simba is dead. Furaha means happy.

Furaha's mother is Sona, daughter of Kovu and Kiara. She has a brother called Huruma. Her father was Jua, who was a newborn cub when the outlanders joined the pride. He died in battle.
