Simba's Pride (Ava15's Fanfics)

Simba's Pride is the lion pride in the Pride Lands that is ruled by a reigning monarch. The pride has been ruled by multiple kings and queens, including Mufasa and Sarabi, Scar, and currently, Simba and Nala. When Simba dies or abdicates his powers as king, the Pride Lands will be ruled by his daughter, Kiara, and her consort, Kovu.

Temperament and traits[]

Simba's Pride is usually calm and collected. It is rare that members are upset often or have short tempers. Usually a member will seek to sort out things peacefully, without fighting. Members are active during the day, and are able to hide very well.

History[]

Formation[]

Back in the early days of the Pride Lands, a lion called Mohatu became the first king of Pride Rock, and appointed his mate, Hadiya, to be the first queen. Their descendants eventually formed the pride known today.

In Legends of the Lion Guard: Protectors of the Pride Lands[]

The Orphans[]

When Kion brings Hanisi and his siblings to Pride Rock, Mahuluti explains that the Royal Family has been spending time together. Later, Kion finds his family inside the den and he and Mahuluti go inside to hear jokes and stories from Nyimbo.

A Celebration in the Pride Lands[]

Kion meets up with some of the pride, including his family, and talks to them about the Kupatana celebration and Mhina's family. The next day, Mhina and his family are escorted to Pride Rock, where Simba's Pride greets them. Some of the pride members watch as Simba negotiates the treaty with Ajani inside the den. Later, the pride attends the Kupatana celebration and says goodbye to Mhina's family.

The Pride Lands Games[]

Simba's Pride gathers outside Pride Rock when Kion escorts the Tree of Life delegation there. The next day, the pride attends the Pride Lands Games.

The New Heroes[]

Kiara leads the Lion Guard up to the peak of Pride Rock, where Mhina is next to Simba.

Nguruma and the Bully[]

Kion defends his brother, Nguruma, from Mapigano, and they report what happened to Simba and Nala. The next day, Nala shows how proud she is of Nguruma after he stands up to Mapigano, and leads her sons home.

Kion and Nguruma's Birthday[]

The pride watches as Simba and Nala plan and discuss the birthday party for Kion and Nguruma. Later, the pride attends the birthday celebration.

An Unknown Threat[]

Some members of the pride lounge outside at Pride Rock. Later, more pride members are rescued from Kucha's Clan by the Lion Guard and Anga.

A Fragile Hope[]

Kion and the Lion Guard listen to Simba at Pride Rock. Later, Kion and Nguruma journey with the Guard, Rafiki, and Makini to the Tree of Life to heal Jivin.

Brothers' Journey[]

The Royal Family watches Kion and Nguruma play near Pride Rock. Simba and Nala approach their sons, explaining that they are going on the journey to find Udugu. Nala takes them, and Kion and Nguruma work together to stop Joka. They return home and explain the events to Simba, Kiara, and Kovu.

Mhina's Tale[]

Some members of the pride gather at Pride Rock as the Lion Guard returns to report Sakina and Amun's attack.

Felines on the Run[]

Some pride members gather at Pride Rock when the Lion Guard and Mhina return with Salim and Ujuzi.

A Wonderful Royal Summit[]

Simba informs the Royal Family that an event is taking place in Mizimu Grove, leading them, the Lion Guard, Rafiki, and Makini there, where he announces that a Royal Summit is taking place between all of the allied kingdoms. The Royal Family sits through the whole summit and makes new friends in Kuro's Herd.

Legends of the Lion Guard: Battle for the Pride Lands[]

Many members of the pride are frequently seen outside Pride Rock when the Lion Guard and their friends return from patrols. When Jivin arrives at Pride Rock, the Royal Family is outside, and they head inside the den to hear his conversation with Simba. They soon head outside, then back in after Jivin leaves. Upon the Tumaini Pride's arrival at Pride Rock, the Royal Family is present outside the den, and they head inside to hear his chat with Simba. Later, they are seen outside the den when the Lion Guard, Mhina, his siblings, Anga, and Vuai return from defeating Janja's Clan. The Tumaini Pride soon departs, and Simba leads Nala, Kovu, Vuai, and Nguruma inside the den, leaving Kiara and Kion outside to talk. After learning of Scar's return, the pride is gathered outside the den, and the Lion Guard heads inside to speak to Simba and Nala. When Kiara leads the Lion Guard to Simba, some pride members are gathered outside the den. They later go inside with the kingdom delegations so Simba can reveal that Scar has returned. Some time afterward, the pride is present when Kion announces Scar's revival to the Pride Landers. That same day, Kion, Beshte, and the Pride Landers rescue Nguruma from Reth's Pride, and return him to Pride Rock, where his family and Mahuluti worriedly look at him.

After speaking with Mufasa, Kion returns to Pride Rock, greeting his parents and Kiara. They reassure him that he will defeat Scar, and head inside the den to rest. The next day, Zazu warns Simba that the battle for the Pride Lands has started, and turning to Nala and Kiara, he says that they must assemble the pride immediately. Kiara worries about Kion's safety, but Nala reassures her that Simba is right, telling her that they need to gather the pride. When the delegations arrive at Pride Rock, members of Simba's Pride are gathered in the crowd. A few pride members who are unable to fight stay behind in Atka and Merah's Cave. Shortly after, Fuli rescues Marigold from Reth's Pride and returns her to her grandparents. The pride is soon attacked by Kucha and her clan at Pride Rock, and the Lion Guard, Mhina, his siblings, and Azaad rush onto the scene, helping them fight the hyenas. Once they are driven away, Kion and the rest of his family approach Simba, checking in on one another. Without warning, Scar appears in a fire and addresses his family and the Pride Landers, warning them that he can't be defeated before vanishing. Simba then assigns Kovu and Kora to check on everyone inside Atka and Merah's Cave. Minutes later, Simba's Pride is still left in shock over Scar's appearance. Later, the pride participates in the final battle, and they check on Kion in the Lair of the Lion Guard before heading out to give Kion and Mhina privacy.

Legends of the Lion Guard: The Dark Prophecy[]

Kion, strugging to get sleep, walks out of the den and past the sleeping members of the pride. The next day, the pride gathers outside Pride Rock to bid farewell to the Lion Guard as they head to the Tree of Life. Later, Koti and his family gather outside the den while Amira and her family settle inside in preparation for the wedding. Soon, Rafiki announces that it's time for the wedding, and when Amira informs him that the pride is outside, Simba leads them all to Mizimu Grove. After Koti and Amira are married, the pride cheers loudly, and eventually, they return to Pride Rock at night. While speaking with Mufasa, Kion expresses his uncertainty about the pride accepting his relationship with Mhina. As he opens up to Makini, Nguruma mentions that members of the pride served as some of his many escorts. That night, Nguruma notes that Mahuluti would take him stargazing when the pride was asleep. Weeks later, Simba's Pride is gathered outside Pride Rock when the Lion Guard, Makini, and Nguruma return to the Pride Lands; Kion and Nguruma rush up to the peak to greet their family. Upon nightfall, the Royal Family and Kion join the sleeping pride inside the den.

Night Pride[]

Simba's Pride is acquainted with the Night Pride, and its members help them out and attend events hosted by the pride.

Tumaini Pride[]

Simba's Pride is closely acquainted with the Tumaini Pride, and both prides often attend events and ceremonies together.

Rafiki[]

Ever since the rule of Ahadi and Uru, Rafiki has been a close friend of Simba's Pride, serving as their Royal Mjuzi. He helps them present newborn cubs to the Pride Landers or assisting them in fighting and medicinal practices.

Makini[]

Makini, like her mentor, Rafiki, is also a close friend of the pride. When she is older, she too will take on the tasks Rafiki does for the pride.

Zazu[]

Since the rule of Mufasa and Sarabi, Zazu has been the Majordormo of the pride, reporting news and helping the members stay in line. Zazu has also given reports of trouble in the Pride Lands and delievers reports every morning and evening.

Zuzu[]

Zuzu is the secondary Majordormo of the Pride Lands, serving since Ahadi and Uru's days. Like her son, she helps to report news and keep the pride in line.
