Ed is a character of The Lion King: Scar's Reign by user ScarsReign.
Ed is a male hyena. He's the closest friend of Shenzi & Banzai.

Ed's fur is grey/black and he mostly has his tongue out.
Personality / Fun facts[]
Ed doesn't speak. It's unclear whether he can't or he just won't (in the presence of the lions). For example he sees Scar's frustrated reaction basically every time his friend Banzai says anything.
Perhaps the fact that he doesn't talk is a tactic. Ed is unable to lie, something that became clear when Shenzi stated to Mufasa they didn't knew the cub they attacked was Mufasa's son. The hyenas asked Ed to clarify this, but with a nod he actually confirmed that they knew who he was!
Ed frequently is the victim whenever Scar desires to kick some hyena butt..
According to Banzai, Ed is freakin' popular among the female hyenas!
Ed is the hyena with the shortest name.
