Edward (Eduzi, Edaha) "Ed" is a male hyæna, he is portrayed as a villain as He, Banzai and Shenzi coordinated Scar's murder of Mufasa and almost both killing Simba and Nala, but however he (and the rest of the hyena clan) gives Scar his comeuppance by killing him because of his betrayal and blatant treason. After Scar's death, it's most likely that he, Banzai, Shenzi and the rest of the clan were banished from the Pride Lands by Simba.
Personality[]
Ed is the stupidest and most humorous of Shenzi's clan, and also he can't talk and can only communicate with laughter. He usually sticks his tongue out most of the time, but he's still a rather great hunter, as seen above.
Appearance[]
Ed is a brown hyæna who has black paws, eyebrows, a black mane, gray spots, yellow eyes, torn red ears (possibly due to a conflict) and a blue tongue that usually sticks out.
While he looks gray, that is because he is in dark areas as in the Elephant Graveyard, but when he is in broad daylight, it reveals his true color, Brown. Same goes with Shenzi and Banzai.
Trivia[]
- The reason Ed's tongue is blue is a nod to another show which features a dimwit named Ed, Ed, Edd n Eddy, a show which has rather less sad moments, considering it's a comedic show.
- Ed is one of the few characters in TLK to not have a Swahili or Zulu name, unless if you count "Eduze", "Edeni" or "Edaha" as his name.
- Ed is Aromantic, thus, he doesn't have any sort of romances with anyone.
