The Dusty Plain is a neighboring territory of Leopon Plains and the Tree of Life. It is the home of Kuro and his herd and ruled by Kuro and Kanga.

History[]

Background[]

As revealed by Kuro, Dusty Plain had been the victim of a severe drought which left the kingdom dry and barren. Upon hearing of this, Ajani, the king of Leopon Plains, offered his assistance to the impalas, providing use of the watering holes in Leopon Plains in case they were needed and protection from predators, an offer the impalas accepted gratefully.

A Wonderful Royal Summit[]

When he arrives at Mizimu Grove, Kuro introduces himself as the king of the Dusty Plain's impalas. He explains that the Dusty Plain is a small kingdom, with Kanga adding that it is quiet and drought-battered - nearly all of their watering holes are dry, but its lack of a decent population keeps them safe from predators. After Kabila and Tiifu bring up the dangers of dry lightning, Kuro mentions the terrible drought in the Dusty Plain that dried up their watering holes; while they have begun to recover, help is still appreciated. Ajani offers his assistance, leaving Kuro grateful, and he thanks him. With this, the Royal Summit concludes, and Simba welcomes the Dusty Plain monarchy as allies.
