Domo is a male bat hawk that lives in the Towe Gorge.

Appearance[]

Domo is a large, sturdy bat hawk with a thick body and a flat head that is small in comparison. His beak, on the other hand, is broad and bulky for his kind. He has dull brown-black feathers and a thin patch of white that extends from his chin to his chest. Two feathers on his head point backwards, drooping down at the tips. His sharp eyes are golden-amber in color. He has long tail feathers and long, narrow pinkish talons that end in coal black claws.

Personality[]

A high-minded and tactful bird, Domo is polite and respectful to those he encounters. He is also decisive, able to make very quick decisions. His acumen is helpful to him especially when he encounters other animals, which is fairly rare but occasionally occurs. He is secretly miserable in the Towe Gorge and desires a new home, but is keeping this information to himself until he finds a suitable location to move to. He is decent and does not demand respect, and is grateful when treated with kindness. He is a skilled hunter, though not as good as Eusi.

History[]

Early Life[]

Domo hatched in a nest built atop a scraggly acacia tree. He and his sister watched his parents hunt each dusk and were impressed by their skills. Domo developed an extreme fondness for bats as he matured, and learned how to hunt them as soon as he could. His sister traveled far in search of a place to live, but Domo chose to remain in the Drylands.

After a few weeks of living alone, Domo was hunting at dusk when Eusi almost collided with him. They exchanged polite greetings and parted ways. They encountered each other four more times over the next two weeks, and after about a week and a half Domo had begun to fall in love with her stubbornness and skill. They soon became mates, and Eusi found them a home at the Towe Gorge.
