Yes! And I know just how I can help! I'd like to offer use of the watering hole in Dhahabu Grove in case any kingdom should suffer a drought during this season. All shall have free access to the watering hole at any time.
―Dhahabu lending her help in the onset of the dry season

Dhahabu is an adult female golden zebra that resides in the Back Lands. She is the mate of Suhuba, the mother of Starehe and Raha, the queen of the Back Lands zebras, and the leader of her herd.

She is a minor character in Legends of the Lion Guard.

Appearance[]

Dhahabu is a slenderly built peach-tan and white striped zebra. Her eyes are bright sky blue, with black eyebrows. She has a striped golden and white mane that curves to one side and rises above her face. The stripes on her legs are darker than the ones on her head and back. Her inner ears are pink, and her hooves are dark brown.

Personality[]

Dhahabu has a kind, caring, warm, and almost motherly personality, welcoming those to her grove with open arms. She is immensely caring about the animals who stay in her grove and always enjoys helping those who have less than what she does. Dhahabu often refers to her visitors as dear or honey as a reflection of the mother inside her. Dhahabu is also open to taking advice from others, especially if the advice will help her grow into a better leader. Unlike most zebras, she is not always fearful and will be brave in order to grow, help others and fixing her problems.
