Daktari is a male tigon. He is the mate of Kwaherini, the father of Duka, Jiwe, Habari, Gani, and Furahi, and the leader of a group of tigons that live in Leopon Plains.
He is a minor character in Legends of the Lion Guard.
Appearance []
Daktari has a tannish-golden pelt, with vertical black stripes, a tan underbelly, and cheek tufts. His eyes are reddish-orange.
Personality []
Daktari is amicable and open, willing to engage in conversation and negotiate according to the customs of Leopon Plains. He grasps an understanding of the Circle of Life and how every animal must give and take in order to keep it in balance.

Backstory[]
Daktari was born to unknown parents in Mwituni Oasis. He grew up studying the land and traveling it, and enjoyed swimming in its lush rivers. He soon met another tigon, Kwaherini, and they fell in love. They soon had Habari and Duka, then Jiwe and Furahi, and later Gani. Daktari was proud to have a large family and loved teaching his children. He was proud of Jiwe and Duka when they became mates with Tatu and Vitu, respectively.
