Chewa is a male vulture. He is a member of Mzingo's Committee.
He is an antagonist in Legends of the Lion Guard.
Appearance[]
Unlike most of the vultures in his flock, Chewa has a very mangy and ragged appearance. His feathers are black, and his eyes are pink. He has a small white mane around his neck, a tan and orange beak, bushy eyebrows, and scraggly feathers on top of his head.
Personality[]
Like Choyo, Chewa is greedy and selfish. His slick and conniving demeanor sets him apart from the other vultures in his flock. He is considerably smart and cunning as well as patient. In a similar fashion to Mzingo, he aims to keep the flock well-fed.
History[]
Legends of the Lion Guard: Battle for the Pride Lands[]
When Scar commences his war on the Pride Lands, he orders Mzingo's Committee to set Kilio Valley on fire. Mzingo asks his committee if they are in agreement, and they nod, flying off. Zazu sees the Outlanders cross the border, and he warns Simba, who tells him to inform the Lion Guard. Upon finding out, Kion and Mhina head to Kilio Valley, but struggle to put out the flames and fight the vultures at the same time. Zazu notices and gives this information to Simba, and he assigns Kicheko, Kopa, and Tatu to help Kion and Mhina. They rush to the scene, and Kion instructs Tatu to distract the vultures. Shortly after, Scar orders his forces to act like they put up a fight against the Lion Guard, and Mzingo's Committee fights with Hadithi's bird army. Eventually, they retreat.
