Chekesha is a lioness and a member of the Moyo Hodari Pride.
Appearance[]
Cub[]
Chekesha's appearance is a blend of both her parents, though closer to that of her mother. Her cub-spotted fur is rich red-orange, somewhere between the warm gold of her father's coat and the reddish hue of her mother's. Her muzzle, underbelly, and paws are an amber color that is slightly lighter than her predominant pelt color. She has her mother's eyes exactly: a clear carmine red. Her nose is brown, and her claws are short and sharp. She would be average sized for a cub her age were it not for her long legs, which give her a lanky appearance. Before her accident, it was apparent that she had inherited her father's regal posture rather than her mother's slouch, to the relief of both of them.
In an accident at the Poromoko Cliffs, one of Chekesha's hind legs was completely crushed. Though at first both were severely injured, one of them was able to heal. However, the other remains twisted, misshapen, and flattened.

Cub[]
Chekesha is a cub who strives to bring amusement into the life of others. If making jokes does not get a laugh from whomever may be watching, she'll try anything from deliberately tripping over her own paws to chasing her tail. This is especially true in regards to her ill, fragile sister Ugonjwa, who rarely even cracks a smile. Chekesha wants desperately for her sister to be happy, and does her very best to brighten her life each day. She prefers to always ignore anything negative, which can sometimes mean not obeying her mother.
