Description[]
The area is a vast open space filled with acacia trees, lush green grass, and bountiful bushes. A clean dirt path leads the way from the nearby cliffs which overlook the plains.

The Rogue Hyena[]
Kubariki's Clan idly relaxes in Chakula Plains until being informed by Shinda and Shinuni of an animal in distress in the Outlands, and the two hyenas, along with Kubariki and her family, set off to find it. They soon discover a injured male striped hyena near a set of cliffs, and after earning his trust, take him back to Chakula Plains, where they put him into a nest and treat his injuries. One week later, the clan watches the hyena, who has revealed himself to be a vagabond named Shalo, leave in better health.
Mhina's Tale[]
The Lion Guard and Mhina patrol Chakula Plains for a while, but soon leave after hearing of an emergency from Anga.
Wildfire Emergency[]
Chakula Plains is set on fire by dry lightning, and the Lion Guard, along with other Pride Landers, work together to put the wildfires out.

Legends of the Lion Guard: Battle for the Pride Lands[]
Jasiri returns home to Chakula Plains after spending some time with the Lion Guard, Mhina, and Anga. When Wema is saved from Reth's Pride, Jasiri takes her home to Chakula Plains. After defeating Kiburi's Float, Jasiri returns home to help her parents get her cousins settled for the night. Some time after, Kion mentions at Pride Rock that he will be training a fifth team at Chakula Plains. That same day, he demonstrates a battle technique there with Simba in front of the other Pride Landers, and Ma Tembo, Makuu, and Mfukoni hold their own demonstrations as well. A little while later, Kion speaks with Mufasa at Chakula Plains.
Shortly after, Kion, Ono, Mhina, and his siblings face off against Reirei's Pack at Chakula Plains, and Azaad and Fuli arrive, blinding the jackals in their wake. Ono suddenly reports that Kion's family is being attacked by Kucha's Clan at Pride Rock, and they rush off to help them while the jackals are distracted. Later, Kion accidentally uses the Roar of the Elders on Bunga, sending him flying, and Anga spots him in Chakula Plains. Upon arriving, they find Bunga dazed and confused, but okay. Kion then dashes ahead to reunite with Mhina.
