The binturong, also known as a bearcat, is native to South and Southeast Asia. It spends most of its time in trees, and while classified as a carnivore, also eats plants. Their tails are muscular, which they use to hang from trees, and binturongs are also good swimmers. Binturongs sleep during the day.
Binturongs have speckled gray and black fur. They have long ear tufts and reddish-brown eyes.
