Azimio is a lioness and a member of the Gheiri Pride.
Appearance[]
At first glance, Azimio is not much to look at. Her fur is a very pale eburnean, giving it a faded and rather sickly appearance. Physically, she is thin and short-legged, with a round, stumpy muzzle that causes her face to seem somewhat flattened. However, if one were to look closer, several of her prettier traits would be likely to catch their eye. Her fur is soft and silky, slightly longer than average. Her wide-set eyes are melichrous, a soft golden hue identical to that of fresh honey. Above each resides an arched, deep golden-brown eyebrow. She has high cheekbones and sharply tapered ears. Her movements seem almost hesitant, as if she thinks carefully about every step she takes. Her nose is light apricot, and the tuft at the end of her tail is cinereous.
Personality[]
Despite the caution of her movements and the slowness of her speech, Azimio is a firm lioness who always stands by her decisions. Thoughtful and circumspect, she takes time to make choices, but never wavers from them once she does. She does not hesitate to argue with those who disagree with her, and shows no fear if she needs to defend herself with physical violence. She displayed courage in the many battles that she was ordered to fight in by her queen, invariably willing to place herself in the path of danger if it meant defending her pride. However, she never thinks much about why she was fighting in the bloody, ruthless war between the two lion prides, and this was eventually the cause of her death. Only in her dying moments did she realize that she had taken part in terrible battles without even questioning it.
Azimio cares very much for her son Ajali and her daughter Nurisha. However, she quickly grew to dislike her mate Changarawe, and the two frequently quarrel. Azimio does her best to make sure that Nurisha and Ajali were never around to witness them fighting.
