Askari is an adult male hyena in The Lion Guard: A New Era. He is one of the hyenas that guards the entrance to the Heshima Clan's territory and one of Chukiana's top bodyguards. Askari is a loyal member of the clan and a fierce warrior.
Appearance[]
Askari is a light-grey spotted hyena. He has a thick mane and tail, which are both black with a mix of light tan. Askari has green eyes, and he has a number of battle scars located on his body.
History[]
Askari was promoted to the warrior position within the clan as a young adult, shortly after the death of Chuki's mate Heshima. He has since served Chuki and they have become very close friends.
After Jasiri's ascent to the matriarchal position, Askari has continued to remain Chuki's bodyguard.
