Ardhi is a male aardwolf.
Appearance[]
The smallest of his siblings, though not much more so than his sister Chafu, Ardhi bears the same round features as the rest of them. His eyes are large, round, and vibrant green in color. His soft coat is light, creamy brown, sliced through with black stripes. Ardhi has a long, fluffy tail, and the fur on his head is slightly more grayish in color than the rest of his pelt. Though his fur is usually very well-groomed, he almost always has a smudge of dirt smeared onto his bright black nose and a smattering of grit on his head.
Personality[]
Ardhi is honest and bright-hearted. He does his best to be positive and spirited, and as a result can sometimes fail to understand how serious a situation is. He is easily intimidated and is a very unskilled liar. He is very loyal to his siblings, and is friendly and kind to each of them. Like the others, he is somewhat suspicious of animals outside of his group, but tries harder than any of them to disguise this. Nevertheless, he holds a general distaste for other Drylanders just like his sisters and brother, and though he finds killing them or driving them out unpleasant, he still is willing to do so. Due to his contrasting natures, he is somewhat insecure about himself- uncertain if he likes fighting or not, afraid that the atrocities he has participated in will haunt him forever, and not wanting to be a bad animal but at the same time wanting to remain with his siblings despite the violent lifestyle they have chosen. Despite these worries, he is not entirely aware just how immoral the group's actions are.
Ardhi likes to distract or entertain himself by playing with feathers, pebbles, tufts of fur, beetles, or small bones.
History[]
Early Life[]
Ardhi and his siblings were born at the base of the Poromoko Cliffs in the Drylands, with Ardhi being the youngest. They lost their parents at a young age to a family of jackals. This drew them very close together, but it also forced them to grow up faster than they normally would have- and as a result, each bears a guard that they rarely ever drop and varying degrees of distaste for other animals, even Ardhi, despite his more pleasant disposition. As they grew older, instead of seeking out abandoned tunnels and dens as is the usual method of aardwolves, they chose to drive animals out of their current homes, occasionally killing them if the creatures prove especially reluctant to leave.
