Spotty[]
Afua met Spotty one day after hanging out with Kopa and Vitani. He was weirded out by Spotty's crush on him, since they had never met, and assumed she was only there to flirt, so he tried to shoo her away. However, in a few minutes' time he soon realized that Spotty loved him for who he was and, touched by this, fell in love with her. The two became lovers and good friends in a short time, and were married after their friends Kopa and Vitani were. Afua joined Simba's pride permanently after marrying Spotty. They have one daughter named Tani, whom they let have much freedom. Afua and Spotty's marriage is friendly and sweet, with both being affectionate, and they both enjoy each others' company greatly.
Kopa[]
Kopa and Afua were childhood friends. They played together often when Afua came for visits from his home pride. Although they once had a falling out that nearly ended their friendship, they soon reconciled, and were good friends until Kopa ran away. This saddened Afua, and helped contribute to his more-seriousness as a teenager. He also stopped visiting Simba's pride. However, upon Kopa's return to his home pride, the two rekindled their childhood friendship and are now good friends again, talking and hanging out frequently.
Tani[]
Tani is Afua and Spotty's daughter. Although her relationship with her parents is not too significant, Tani and her parents are on good terms. They let her have much freedom.
Babu and Boga[]
Afua is good friends with these two from his childhood. They played together frequently along with Kopa. Upon reuniting as adults, they all discover they are much different from each other, but still maintain their friendship. Kopa, Afua, Babu and Boga all hang out when they get the chance.
Beba[]
Beba the cheetah cub and Afua were good friends as cubs. Afua's friendship with Beba almost ended Kopa and Afua's friendship, because Afua began to compare his new friend to Kopa all the time. They are still good friends as adults, and now Beba and Kopa get along better.
His brothers[]
Afua is good friends with his brothers, Kondo and Rogue. Before they all found mates and had children, the three often hung out together as rogues. They are still good friends, but meet less frequently.
His parents[]
Afua is on good terms with Malka and Vashti. They spent a lot of time with their son and took him along to Simba's pride for many visits during his cubhood. He gets his physical appearance from a mix of both of them. They are still on good terms to this day, although Afua only visits them a few times now.
