A Snowy Escape is the sixth chapter in The Lion King : Pride of the Pack.

Luna
King Tate , lay proudly on a large stone. Azor and Marigold stood by him. He looked at the three lions. "Welcome , strange cats, " the wolf said. "It is my honor that you take any stones you want. You can take them all , if you want. They are easy to collect. Just place them on a patch of dirt to get the elements you want."
"Um , who were those bears ? And who is that large wolf?" Timira asked.
"You mean The Bear Duo and Loup?" Tate aked. " He just came out of a metal tube. He was frozen all this time. As for the bears, they just came her and caused havoc. "
"How do you get all your stones?" Kopa asked.
"I'm glad you asked" Tate said. "It comes from the Moon. The Wolf of the Moon gives them to us. Let me tell you the story of our most legendary ancestor Luna. First , let me tell you about our pack. I am from the Mountain Pack. This is the main pack . They are the rulers. Then we have the Dark , Dawn and Frost Tremor Packs. They protect our lands. After words we have the Dawn Moon Pack and the Dark Moon Pack. They complete quests given to us by our ancestors. After words there is the Flower Pack. They are the doctors of the Meadow of Light, healing all animals. Last but not least, we have the Jannu pack. They are the hunters. They provide us with food."
Tate looked at the three lions. He smiled. A wave of nostalgia hit him. This was his favorite story as a pup.
"It all started when humans still ruled the earth. Long ago..
Duck , a white Timber wolf , lay with his mate Fang. They looked at their two new pups- Luna and Jupiter. They felt proud. They were living in an location called a zoo. Luna was later sent to the forest.
Two years later , a hunter came into the forest. He set the forest on fire , hoping to capture the animals and kill all of them. The Great Prince of the Forest , a buck White tailed deer , gathered every animal to safety. Then hunter died in the forest fire.
However , there was a problem. With much of the forest gone, there would not be enough capacity for all of the local wildlife. Luna and The Great Prince of the forest made their own groups. The Great Prince's group had the animals who would stay in the forest. They would try to bring plant life back over their while the other group (Luna's) would try to find a new home for themselves. Luna and her mate Sol made a few rules that the animals had to obey.
It was a long journey. All hope was lost. Luna stayed at the back while Sol was at the front of the group. Their pups five pups looked after the corners.
The animals at the front suddenly gave a cry of joy. They had finally found a place to call home.
This place was The Meadow of Light. At the moment it was winter, and it was pretty snowy. A hunter was following the animals. Luna noticed him and howled , making the animals scatter.
Luna blended in with the snow. She attacked the hunter. Her mate joined. The hunter was soon dead.
Luna had saved all animals. However , a few humans came out of now where a few weeks later and captured Luna and Sol.
Luna and Sol spend the next year of their life in a zoo. Both tried to escape. They damaged a lot of their exhibit. The zoo had to pay a lot of money just for the two wolves. Sol was sent back to the Meadow of Light , while Luna (who was renamed to Meadow) was sent to a circus.
Protestors were giving the circus a hard time. They circus owner thought that if they had more exotic animals more people would come. However , this brought in more protestors. Soon , Luna was back in the Meadow of Light.
Luna lived for a long time. She ruled the Meadow of Light for a long time. No one has been able to beat that record so far. Luna almost lasted Human Extinction.
But one summer evening, Luna died.
However , when the other animals looked in the sky , they saw a wolf watching them. She sent magic stones to the animals of The Meadow of Light. In the sun there was a second wolf.
The animals realized that the wolf in the sun was Sol and the wolf of the Moon was Luna. The animals lived peacefully in the Meadow of Light"
Tate looked at the three lions. He smiled. He should tell them the story of Terra next.
