While the hybrid cub Mohatu practiced defense and hunting with lots of active games Rafiki told Goigoi how Scar got his Scar so they could defeat Scar's fire ghost spirit once and for all without trouble. Reirei helped Shauku, Mtoto, Young Serval, Bhati the bat-eared fox and Sand Cats prepare for the fight while Mohatu's parents Kion and Jasiri went looking for addition team members to fight Scar with. Reirei's pups practiced defense with Makini.
Secretly Zira wanted the harrier hawk Mpishi and some big rats of the Outlands to capture Reirei and her pups. Hadithi saw his hawk cousin entering the Pride Lands and quickly went to warn Nala and Simba, and they told Makini to follow Mpishi. While Makini followed Mpishi Janja was in the Pride Lands with Kenge and the crocodiles Scar instructed to capture Zazu again.
Soon after the Jackals and Zazu were captured Scar in his fire ghost form spoke with Simba, and Anga hurried off to find Kion. He came back with babboons, rhinos, Badili, Kovu, aardwolves, turtles, parrots, bats, zebras, genets, mongooses, Shujaa, Cheezi, and elephants.When Kion heard the bad news he hurried off to rescue Zazu and the jackals.
After Reirei was saved by Kion she told him she was still on his side, then she hurried off to gather her golden wolf cousins who could also help Kion against Outlanders. African Wild Dogs protected Simba and his pride during this fight against Scar's fire ghost spirit. Zira was mad at Kovu about him switching sides again, and Scar was mad at Cheezi. But Cheezi liked Jasiri.
When war began elephants helped Kion use water against Scar's fire ghost spirit using their trunks to splash him while the Pride Lands were being defended. Reirei also helped cubs find cover before they were burnt by Scar's big sparks, and to really get rid of Ushari sand cats followed mongooses as well as secretary birds and they all chased him out of the volcano after he gave Kion a scar. Once they reached the edge of the Outland volcano Reirei and her golden wolf cousins made sure Ushari didn't escape the other Pride Landers and Anga chopped the cobra up, then several Pride Landers shared this mean cobra as their small feast so he had no chance to return.
After the war was over Chungu helped the other Hyenas get rid of Janja and Cheezi joined Jasiri, then the two clans told Kion they were finally in peace and Pride Landers were welcome to travel their areas of the Outland and they'd help Pride Landers stay safe from those who were still foes in the Outlands like Zira and Makucha.
