Halisi is a lioness who resides in the Lakelands as one of its 2 Queens. She is also mother of 3 cubs named Ayira, Sanura and Wazimu.

Halisi was originally part of Mufasa’s pride, but unlike him, she understood there were 2 sides to every story. Halisi was friends with all the carnivores in the pridelands, so when Mufasa made the decision to exile all Hyenas and Jackals over the way just a few of them acted, Halisi began to reconsider staying in the pridelands. Eventually, she and her mate Mavumbi fled the pridelands, in order to find a new home. One where they could have their own rules. So the two lionesses made their home in a huge land behind the outlands and the great stone wall. They called this the “Lakelands“ and became the rulers. All animals were allowed here, as the land was big enough for every predator to hunt. Her majordomo is a hyena called Neema, who was banished along with the other hyenas from the pridelands. The Lakelands are now flourishing, and even healthier than the pridelands.
